Mr. Ogon teaches at our Grundschule and Kindergarten since 2002. He graduated from University of Dortmund, Germany and earned his Diploma of Special Education Teacher. Waldkirch im Breisgau (Schwarzwald) is his hometown. After his teacher-training at the university of Dortmund, he did his legal clerkship in Mannheim and Heidelberg at schools for people with learning disabilities, behavioural problems and the visually impaired. Then he worked for several years at the school for the visually impaired in Heilbronn.

In addition to his work as a class teacher, he was also the school's media officer, responsible for the computer network and active in the early intervention of disabled children. He then had to give up his work as regional chairman for the blind and visually impaired in the Association of German Special Schools (VDS) due to his new job in Indonesia.

The one thing he loves teaching at DSJ; “One thing? No, I cannot reduce it to one thing. The atmosphere, the freedom, the diversity, the possibility of individualization for each individual child, the teamwork and the curiosity and joy of the children as a whole is what makes working at the DSJ so interesting and varied."
