The German secondary education is very comprehensive and versatile to ensure broad academic knowledge, yet allows for a certain level of personal preferences. The goal is to prepare our students as best as possible for higher education. Top academic standards, excellent educational support, and our worldwide recognized trademark diploma, the "Deutsches Internationales Abitur (DIA)" are granting our graduates university access in Germany and anywhere else, even the most prestigious universities around the globe, such as Harvard, Yale, Cambridge, and Oxford.
Classes are taught in German and English and include mathematics, a minimum of two foreign languages, natural sciences (biology, chemistry, and physics), computer science, social sciences (geography, history, politics, and economics), philosophy/religious studies, arts, music, and physical education in a variety of sports. Starting at grade 11, our students get prepared for future university studies and must choose two focus subjects ("Leistungskurse") and two additional subjects for the final Abitur examination.

Secondary Level I (Junior High School) lays a solid foundation of broad knowledge and fundamental methodological skills:
We are privileged to call a 4.2 hectare green campus our own which offers students ample space and opportunities for healthy movement. Plenty of athletic facilities like our officially sized football field and running track, a multi-purpose sports hall, our 25m swimming pool, tennis courts, two concrete soccer/basketball playgrounds, beach volleyball fields, and extensive playgrounds are the dream of every sports teacher and athlete.
Our bright and modern facilities include a spacious school building with a large indoor hall, 50 state-of-the-art classrooms, including art and handcraft studios, a music room equipped with a complete set of classic musical instruments, a computer room, an extensive library, an indoor and outdoor canteen, and coffee shop, and a beautiful, 300 seat auditorium for music, dance and acting classes, and events.
To enroll to secondary from grade 7, we require a German language certificate of at least B1 level. This certification and further information can be provided by the Goethe-Institute, while the language courses itself can be undertaken at any institution or private tutors.
To enroll from grade 10, we limit admission to students from Germany or other German Schools abroad. This is due to the primary focus on the preparation for the final Abitur examination, for which a high level of German language proficiency is required.
We accept students from all nationalities and cultural backgrounds to join our secondary school. Registration can be done anytime during the school year. We are looking forward to answering your questions or scheduling an appointment for your visit.
