The German secondary education is very comprehensive and versatile to ensure broad academic knowledge, yet allows for a certain level of personal preferences. The goal is to prepare our students as best as possible for higher education. Top academic standards, excellent educational support, and our worldwide recognized trademark diploma, the "Deutsches Internationales Abitur (DIA)" are granting our graduates university access in Germany and anywhere else, even the most prestigious universities around the globe, such as Harvard, Yale, Cambridge, and Oxford.
Classes are taught in German and English and include mathematics, a minimum of two foreign languages, natural sciences (biology, chemistry, and physics), computer science, social sciences (geography, history, politics, and economics), philosophy/religious studies, arts, music, and physical education in a variety of sports. Starting at grade 11, our students get prepared for future university studies and must choose two focus subjects ("Leistungskurse") and two additional subjects for the final Abitur examination.

Secondary Level I | Grade 7 to 9
To enroll to secondary from grade 7, we require a German language certificate of at least B1 level. This certification and further information can be provided by the Goethe-Institute, while the language courses itself can be undertaken at any institution or private tutors.
Secondary Level II | Grade 10 to 12
To enroll from grade 10, we limit admission to students from Germany or other German Schools abroad. This is due to the primary focus on the preparation for the final Abitur examination, for which a high level of German language proficiency is required.
