Herr Teuber teaches Biology and Physical Education at DSJ. After completing his studies at the University of Hamburg, he did his teacher training from 2000 to 2002 and then worked for twenty years at Wichern School in Hamburg. He has been part of the DSJ team since 2022.

Herr Teuber became a teacher because he enjoys working with young people and supporting them in their personal development. What he values most about his profession is seeing his students grow and succeed – whether in class, in sports, or in everyday interactions.

At DSJ, he particularly appreciates the warm and welcoming atmosphere as well as the international environment that encourages learning from and with one another. His educational motto is: “Movement strengthens not only the body but also the mind.”

In his free time, Herr Teuber is very athletic himself. He enjoys running and regularly participates in marathons. Besides running, he loves traveling, spending time in nature, and good food after a long run. His favorite quote is: “Success is the result of perseverance, not of chance.”
