Sherly Wimarini is a dedicated Preschool Teacher at the Deutsche Schule Jakarta, teaching English, Science, and Art and Craft. She graduated from Parahyangan Catholic University and has been in the teaching profession since 2010, working at DSJ from 2010–2014 and again since 2023.

She became a teacher because she feels called to communicate with children and help nurture their responsibility and character through values. The best part of her job is discovering new things every day alongside her students. What she loves most about DSJ is the freedom to be creative in teaching—and of course, the holidays.

Her pedagogical motto is, “In learning you will teach and in teaching you will learn.” – Phil Collins.

Outside the classroom, Miss Sherly enjoys listening to music, binge-watching Korean and Chinese dramas, and exploring culinary delights. Her special talents include baking and cooking. Her favorite quote is, “Good manners will open doors that the best education cannot.” – Clarence Thomas.
