Nurhetty Sinuhaji has been a member of the German School Jakarta (DSJ) community since 2018, teaching Christian Religion. She holds a Master’s Degree in Christian Religious Education from Immanuel University and has been teaching since 2015.

Ms. Hetty believes that education is a calling and a ministry — a role that allows her to support students not only academically, but also in character and spiritual growth. Her goal is to help young people discover their purpose and live with faith, compassion, and integrity.

The greatest joy in her work is witnessing students grow — academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Seeing them gain confidence and apply values in their daily lives is deeply rewarding.

What she appreciates most about DSJ is the warm, inclusive, and collaborative environment. She values the school’s commitment to holistic education, where students are encouraged to achieve while also caring for others and growing as individuals.

Her educational motto is:

In her free time, she enjoys reading, singing, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. One of her special talents is creating meaningful connections with people — helping them feel seen, heard, and valued.
