Ms. Novy is a dedicated and experienced educator who joined DSJ in 2012. In her role as an Indonesian and DaF teacher, she consistently demonstrates a passion for language education and a commitment to the students' holistic development.
Under Ms. Novy's guidance, DSJ witnessed the establishment of its first Indonesian theater project group, where she led students in captivating theatrical performances. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, she persevered and ensured that the tradition continued, allowing students to showcase their talent on stage year after year.
Recognizing the importance of fostering creative writing skills, Ms. Novy also took the initiative to launch DSJ's esteemed short story writing competition in Bahasa Indonesia for middle and high school students. This initiative has not only encouraged literary exploration but has also provided a platform for students to express their thoughts and ideas effectively.
Ms. Novy's journey in language education began with her Bachelor's degree in German Literature from the University of Indonesia, followed by her completion of Postgraduate studies in DaF at the University of Saarbrücken, Germany. These academic achievements have equipped her with a strong foundation in both German and Indonesian languages.
Prior to her tenure at DSJ, Ms. Novy held various esteemed language teaching positions in reputable institutions and schools in both Germany and Indonesia. With her expertise and unwavering dedication, Ms. Novy remains committed to ensuring a well-rounded education for all students at DSJ.
