Since 2005, Nina Prisilla has been teaching at the German School Jakarta (DSJ). She teaches Mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, and Pendidikan Pancasila, bringing her passion for teaching and working with children to every lesson. Frau Prisilla studied at Universitas Indonesia (UI) and became a teacher because she loves working with children. What she enjoys most about her profession is that no day in the classroom is ever the same – each day presents new challenges and opportunities to inspire students and learn together.

At DSJ, Frau Prisilla especially values the cultural diversity, which allows her to view things from different perspectives and discover new ideas. This diversity enriches not only learning but also the interaction among colleagues and students. Her teaching motto is “We learn, we laugh, we make differences”, reflecting her commitment to learning, laughter, and making a positive impact on her students.

In her free time, Frau Prisilla enjoys reading, cooking, doing crafts, and listening to music. Her family especially appreciates her cooking skills, a talent she happily shares. Her favorite quote, “Be brave and be kind,” highlights her dedication to fostering courage and kindness. With her dedication and warm personality, Frau Prisilla inspires her students to gain knowledge, treat others with respect, and develop their personalities in a positive way.
