Hello, my name is Lukas Giner. I work for the German International Program at the kindergarten. In 2015, I successfully completed my training as an educator at the accredited private school Marianum Hegne. After my graduation, I gained practical experience for 6 years in a children's facility. The facility's concept included a nursery and a kindergarten. In the kindergarten, I was responsible for the science subject. Additionally, I took a further training course to become a specialist in organization and leadership in social services.

As I wanted to gain insights into the entire education system, I changed employers and worked in social-pedagogical family support for 2 years. There, I supported children, adolescents, and adults in their educational development. Other focal points of my work included handling crises and conflicts, educational counseling, and providing support for parents in their role as educators.

Now, I am excited to work at the Deutsche Schule Jakarta. This allows me, as an educator in the kindergarten, to fulfill my desire for the highest possible level of pedagogical work. My goal is to help children develop into unique individuals. The DSJ and the school campus provide the children with the best conditions to ensure a successful education. I greatly appreciate that the DSJ places a strong emphasis on covering all areas of development equally.
