Lenny Hartati has been an English Teacher in the Trilingual Preschool Program at the Deutsche Schule Jakarta since 2023. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Mercu Buana University and has more than 20 years of experience working with children in various international school settings.

Ms. Lenny‘s professional journey includes roles at the International School of Amsterdam as a substitute assistant teacher, English teaching positions at the Deutsche Schule and Sinarmas World School in BSD, as well as positions in Jakarta and BSD that shaped her rich and diverse teaching expertise. She became a teacher because she loves working with children, and what she enjoys most is the fulfillment she feels when seeing them learn and grow. At DSJ, she values the opportunity to express herself freely by designing learning experiences that encourage exploration and curiosity.

Because education should shape both knowledge and character. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, singing, and spending quality time with friends. Her secret talent is singing, a joyful skill she often brings into her classroom. Her favorite quote is:
