Mr. Yudha was born in Jakarta, graduated from Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Unika Atma Jaya. Since his childhood, he loves music and giving away knowledge and playing with children. During this period, he studied and gained music lessons from some teachers. He played in some well-known Orchestras, such as Nusantara Chamber Orchestra, Indonesia Philharmonic Orchestra and Indonesia Youth Orchestra. Afterwards he became a music teacher in one of the best music school in Jakarta.

After passing the tough, highly competitive audition, he has had
the opportunity to join Asian Youth Orchestra, based in Hong Kong, which consist of musicians from all over Asia, in year 1999, and in 2000, as the only representative from Indonesia. During those two consecutive years, he traveled to some countries, like Australia, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Philippines, USA, Vietnam and performed in the prestigious concert halls in every visited country, for instance Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House during Olympic Arts Festival 2000.

After his graduation in Jakarta, he decided to major in music in Germany, received a scholarship from KAAD and passed his first and second Staatsexamen, which is extra ordinary for non-German-/EU citizens. He also had a chance to teach, conduct a choir and an orchestra and play music with some orchestras there.

Since 2011 he is our all-around music teacher at DSJ, is pleased and delighted to share his knowledge and experience. He is proud of presenting and conducting the DSJ’s Orchestra on very special occasions, e.g. German Unification’s Day in Jakarta and International Jugend Musik Festival in Bad Arolsen, Germany.

Something that makes him happy at work is,
‘’ When I am seeing the students’ grabbing and understanding the theme after the lesson is over and seeing the interests of students trying to get to know more about it!’’
