Since April 2009, Ms. Hayatun Nufus has been a Preschool teacher in the International Program at the German School Jakarta (DSJ). She teaches Bahasa Indonesia and Mathematics, bringing her extensive experience to the classroom. Previously, she worked as an Early Years teacher at SIS Kebon Jeruk and earned her Bachelor of Education from the University of Lampung in Indonesia.

Ms. Nufus became a teacher because she loves supporting young children in their development and sharing valuable knowledge. What she enjoys most about her work is observing the learning process and seeing children grow, discover new things, and develop their abilities. She especially loves seeing the children’s smiles when they learn something new. At DSJ, Ms. Nufus values the cultural diversity and the respectful, supportive environment within the school community, which enriches both teaching and daily interactions.

In her free time, Ms. Nufus enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends. She believes that every day offers new opportunities to learn and grow, a mindset she brings to her work with the children.
