Christoph Kober has been working at the German School Jakarta (DSJ) since the 2023/24 school year as a Career and Study Counselor, supporting our students in their academic and professional orientation. He studied at the University of Stuttgart and has been teaching since 2009. Since joining the DSJ team, he has brought his extensive experience in Mathematics and Chemistry to his new advisory role.

Herr Kober became a teacher because he loves working with students and guiding them on their educational journey. What he values most about his profession are the interactions with students and the opportunity to learn something new together every day. For Herr Kober, what makes DSJ special is the respectful and supportive atmosphere that makes the school a place where everyone feels valued and appreciated.

His educational motto is: “Help me to do it myself.” This reflects his belief that students learn best when they are encouraged to take responsibility and act independently. In his free time, Herr Kober enjoys spending time in nature and has a strong interest in music. With his dedication, experience, and positive spirit, Herr Kober is a valuable addition to the DSJ team.
