DSJ's stage came alive in June with two spectacular theatre productions. the DSJ Theatergruppe whisked us away on an exhilarating journey through time with "Zeit" where curiosity and adventure knew no bounds.

Simultaneously, Grade 8i mesmerized us with "Raden Pisang Biru," a story of magic, kindness, and transformation, entirely developed by the students under the guidance of Ibu Novy.

Zeit

A group of school children secretly spends the night in the auditorium. When they wake up in the middle of the night, they discover a mysterious machine and its inventor, Crea. Fueled by curiosity and a sense of adventure, the children embark on a journey through time and space, visiting places and eras beyond their wildest dreams. However, as the adventure unfolds, some of them become lost in the vast expanse of space and time. This play is an exhilarating blend of theater, music, and an unforgettable voyage through the dimensions!

Raden Pisang Biru

The students proudly presented a project entirely created under the guidance of Ibu Novy in their Indonesian lessons. Beginning with a short story written at the end of the 2022/2023 school year, the students developed the script and managed all aspects of the production, showcasing their dedication and creativity.

The story centers on a poor, childless couple. One day, the wife rescues a rabbit from a trap. This rabbit is actually Sasa, the Moon Hare, banished to Earth. In gratitude, Sasa sends the couple to fell a blue banana plant, where they find a baby named Raden Pisang Biru, or Biru. Years later, Biru's tears turn into precious stones. Initially confused, her parents soon become greedy, forcing her to cry constantly to become rich. What will happen to Biru? Will her parents remain cruel, and what will Sasa do?
