Who needs a Trial

A trial is necessary for students without prior German language knowledge to make sure they feel comfortable and are able to follow the classes. German speaking children are not required to take a trial.

Trial Process

• Prospective students have to attend trial classes for for 3–5 consecutive days in the appropriate classes in accordance to the grade of the applicant.
• Trial is conducted during the academic year, starting from the beginning of the second week (August), up to 1 month before the end of the school holidays (early June).
• The trial period is set according to the normal school schedule.
• Acceptance of the student is based on the observations made by the school during the trial period. The school will inform the results of the trial observation no later than 5 working days after the trial ended.
